  • ePlanet II Invests $4.8 Million in Auro Mira Energy

    Based in Redwood City, California, ePlanet II announced on October 5, 2010, that it was investing in one of the fastest growing Indian companies in the clean energy industry, Auro Mira Energy. The company was founded in 2005 and currently has several plants in India and the company is currently focused in three clean energy sectors, wind, hydro, and biomass. The company plans to expand in light of its success. Founded in 2005, the Auro Mira Energy plans to transform the environment in India to the better with providing an alternative clean energy by establishing wind farms, hydroelectric plants, and selling biomass to corporate entities.

    Auro Mira Energy is currently working on its biomass project. The company is investing $900 million to develop, then later own and operate over 1000 plants of biomass energy within the Indian Subcontinent.

    According to ePlanet II’s CEO, Asad Jamal, and Managing Director, Chandrasekar Kandasamy; lately, in the power industry, India is playing a key role. Furthermore, it is a likely possibility that the energy industry can exceed in growth in India in the very near future. Adding to that, it is also foreseen that India’s energy sector is projected to rake in huge profits on the long term. Auro Mira Energy has the potential to be an industry leader in India’s energy and power sectors. Mr. Jamal and Kandasamy both further stated that they are very confident that Auro Mira Energy will provide a high ROI for ePlanet II because Auro Mira Energy will build a rather large energy company throughout the Indian Subcontinent.
