The company started raising money with a Series A funding of $3.5 million. Also, early this year, it merged with another company, Pinch Media, an analytics provider. As the company is operating in a huge expanding market, it succeeded to be in great demand.

After one year of rising the app growth, Flurry has raised another $7 million in Series B funding. The funding was led by InterWest Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, First Round Capital and Square Ventures. The VC company InterWest’s general partner, Doug Pepper, became Flurry’s business partner and joined the Flurry board of directors, bringing great investment experience in technology. The financing was to be used to build a new service that increases application developer revenue, to hire new staff and scale the infrastructure.

The San Francisco based company, Flurry, has been very active in the recent year and also this month, raising $15 million in Series C funding. This round was led by Menlo Ventures. Draper Fisher Jurvetson, First Round Capital, Union Square Ventures and InterWest also participated in this round of investment. Menlo Ventures Managing Director, Sonja Hoel Perkinds will join the board of directors of Flurry.

Simon Khalaf, President and CEO of Flurry said that “We are thrilled to have Menlo Ventures lead this round of financing, and to have Sonja Hoel Perkins join our board of directors.”

This funding of $15 million is intended to be used for the expansion of the reach of the Flurry Analytics and AppCircle services. Also, some of the money will be used to expand marketing and sales and to speed up the development in new services changing the mode in which advertisers connect with customers through the mobile applications.

Last month, Flurry had five billion end user sessions from more than one hundred million devices. The company announced that millions of apps were downloaded, this being the result of the AppCircle targeted recommendations.
