    By the end 2000, there were several projects and companies in Jordan that were funded through Venture Capital investments. Unfortunately, the capital was not provided by Jordanian business-men. Rather, the capital came from Israel – the new peace partner (after the peace agreement from 1994), and from Saudi Arabia.
