HENQ Invest Leads $1.5 Million in Series B Funding for CWR Mobility

Based in Nijmegen, Holland, CWR Mobility announced on January 19, 2011, that it has just secured $1.5 million in series B funding with HENQ Invest leading this funding round. CWR Mobility is one of the world’s leaders in providing mobil solutions for Microsoft’s Dynamics program. The funding round was lead by one of the company’s new investors, HENQ Invest, along with PPM Oost Nederland. This funding round also included the company’s previous investor, TIIN Capital, B. V.
CWR Mobility is a company that produces some of the state-of-the-art mobility software for smartphones and other mobile devices. Along with work together with Microsoft and its Dynamics program, CWR Mobility has been able to develop some of the world’s most sophisticated multi-program software to enhance the working quality of many of today’s mobile devices. Some of the services that CWR Mobility can offer with its new-age software include enhancing the mobile workforce, customization of mobile programs to accommodate its clients, and more. Some of the achievements that CWR Mobility has under its belt include the advancement of the most commonly used mobile devices used today, such as the Windows Phone, the iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, and Android platforms.
CWR Mobility has also designed a product line that is specifically aimed at professionals who use mobile devices on a regular basis for their work. Some of the features that CWR’s professional grade product line offers is access to Microsoft Dynamics 3.0 and 4.0 that professionals can use when they are on the go and far away from the office. Furthermore, the affordability of CWR’s products is ideal for small to medium sized businesses.
Proceeds from this series B funding round will go to enhance the company’s sales and partnerships in North America. The funding will also help the company advance its coverage of the EMEA and APAc regions. The company will also further use the funding from this funding round to expand its marketing campaign and product development for tablet and smartphone devices, such as the iPad and the Android.
According to the company’s CEO, Mark H. Corley, since the company has added new mobility platforms for the iPhone and Blackberry to the Windows Phone, the company has experienced some amazing demand and good feedback from many of its clients and partners. Mr. Corley further added that with the resources provided to CWR by this new round of funding, the company will be able to further its development of these platforms and excel its success in the mobile solutions sector.
Herman Hitzen, CFO of HENQ Invest, further added that the team at HENQ is pleased to lead this funding round because CWR shows amazing growth in the mobile solutions market. The commitment that HENQ has made to invest in CWR is because it allows the firm to get its foot into the mobility market and to have an opportunity to invest in a market-leading company in the industry.
HENQ Invest is a vc firm that is based in Holland, and primarily invests in early stage companies and entrepreneurs in the mobile and tech industries. Some other companies in HENQ’s portfolio include Libersy, Wakcopia, Xite, VideoStrip, Mads, and others.
