  • Chorus Systems Secures $6M in Round B of Venture Capital

    March 6th, 2006 No comments

Chorus Systems, Inc., announced last week that it has secured $6 million in funding from a Series B investment round. Core Capital Partners together with Inflection Point Ventures and Anthem Capital Management led this round. This new round will help fund an on-going growth of the company’s sales and marketing programs, as well as continued product research and development.

Chorus Systems helps IT organizations take back control of their IT operations and budgets. Chorus Systems is a pioneer in information technology support software that automatically detects, diagnoses, and fixes computing problems in large businesses and government agencies

“We are very pleased to have Core, Inflection Point and Anthem as partners with Chorus,” says Dave Hooks, Chief Technical Officer and founder of Chorus Systems. “Their financial support, industry expertise and management strength will help Chorus tremendously during our rapid ramp up.”

“Chorus Systems has developed a truly disruptive technology for automating the detection, diagnosis and repair of desktop systems,” said Jagtar Narula of Core Capital. “The system has the ability to attack a broad set of pressing problems in an innovative and cost-effective way, including security, service management and configuration management.”

“Inflection Point looks for companies with strong management teams, technology leadership and compelling value propositions. Chorus meets those criteria, with its focus on efficient problem prevention and management for desktops and servers,” says Tim Webb of Inflection Point. “Under normal use, a typical PC undergoes hundreds of changes per day. Multiply that by the number of PCs and the growing number of malware issues or unapproved applications and one can see why even top IT organizations are struggling to deal with managing the complexity of their computing environments while controlling costs.”

“Chorus has put together the right ingredients for a successful private technology company. Our product is ready, we have a strong pipeline and early successes in the market and we now have the financial wherewithal to support our rapid growth,” adds CEO Tom Skelton.
